Banon resorts is an expression of a family’s efforts towards perfection spanning over a hundred years. The resort was built and is managed by the descendents of Capt A.T. Banon who started the first hotel/guest house in Manali in the early 20th century.

With an experience of about 100 years in the hospitality industry we have tried to create an unique experience for our guests by designing a resort which combines the past and the present, to give a feel of the ancient cultural heritage of Kullu Valley in a modern setting with world class comfort and exclusive style. The only resort with cottages in Manali, consists of a main building with large public areas and cottages spread over 2 acres of landscaped gardens which gives a feeling of great space and privacy. The resort is centrally heated and the cottages have beautiful wood fired stoves to make your stay comfortable during the winter months.


While being a world away in terms of lifestyle and seclusion, the resort is within a kilometer from the town. The resort is situated in one of Manali’s best preserved areas, close to the circuit house, amidst apple orchards and reserved deodar forests with magnificent views of snow covered peaks of the great Himalayan range.
